Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. halfcup black split lentils /dhuli urad daal
  2. one cup brown rice
  3. Water one cup
  4. Salt
  5. oil four tabspn
  6. One tomato
  7. One onion

Instructions

  1. soak daal and rice for two hours
  2. grind both with half cup water, keep for fermentation
  3. keep for fermentation for six hours
  4. now add salt and more water if the batter is too thick
  5. mix well
  6. heat a nonstick pan
  7. spread two ladles of batter on it ,not too thin
  8. add chopped onion and tomato on it
  9. drizzle oil cook covered for a minute on medium flame
  10. flip and cook again for a minute .
  11. serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
