Ingredients to make Rajasthani special "Daal batti churma"

  • 500 gm wheat flour
  • 200 gm butter for dough
  • Warm water 1 cup
  • salt
  • Ajwaine 1 tbsp
  • For daal:-
  • Mix panchbhel dal 1 cup
  • red chilli powder 2tbsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tbsp
  • salt
  • GARAM masala 1 TBSP
  • Ilaichi 2
  • cloves 2
  • Green chilli 4
  • tomato 2
  • Corriender
  • For churma:-
  • 100 gm ghee for fry bati
  • Boora or powder sugar as possible
  • almonds chopped
  • kesar pista 2 tbsp
  • lemon juice 2 tbsp

How to make Rajasthani special "Daal batti churma"

  1. Knead a dough with flour, butter, salt and water.
  2. For daal :- Boil the soaked dal.
  3. Heat a pan Add butter then a pinch of hing &all spices , add daal in it
  4. For churma:-
  5. Make a small balls out of the dough .You can fill almonds (chopped) in it.
  6. Boil water add balls for 8 min
  7. Strain and cool them.
  8. Add butter in kadahi to fry the balls.
  9. Crush the fried balls with your palms, then add 4 tbsp of butter and nuts. Serve with the dal.

My Tip:

Serve it hot.add lemon in daal as per your taste
