Ingredients to make Raw mango khandvi..

  • Ingredients for batter..
  • 1/2 cup besan
  • 1cup chaj or buttermilk..
  • salt to taste
  • haldi powder 1/3 tsp
  • Ingredients for stuffing..
  • Raw mango or kacchi aambhi 4
  • coconut powder 1sp
  • salt to taste..
  • oil 1tsp
  • Sauf powder 1tsp
  • sugar 2¹/² tsp or as per taste..
  • Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
  • dhaniya powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/3 tsp.
  • haldi 1/3 tsp
  • Ingredients for tadka..
  • 1/2 tsp oil
  • Dhaniya leaves chopped 1tsp
  • coconut powder 1tsp
  • Rai 1/3 tsp

How to make Raw mango khandvi..

  1. Add besan ,and all masalas in a bowl.
  2. Add the buttermilk to it.
  3. Mix it for 5 to 7 mins and make a smooth batter.
  4. Then pour the batter into the kadai..
  5. Cook on a low flame, continuously mix it.. Mix it about 7 to 8 minutes.
  6. Cook till the batter is thick enough. Grease the back of the thali with little ghee.
  7. Spread the batter on to the greased thali.
  8. Now heat a kadhai with little oil and add the fennel seeds powder to it.
  9. Then remove the skin of aambhi [raw mangoes] and chop them, Now add the mango pieces to the kadhai along with the masalas.
  10. When the mangoes are cooked enough, add sugar to them.
  11. Add coconut powder in it.. Mix it well.. Stuffing is ready..
  12. Then cut the pieces of kandvi.. Put stuffing in each pieces..
  13. Then roll it.. Khadvi is ready..
  14. Then add oil in the kadai.. When it becomes hot. Add rai [mustard seeds] in it.
  15. Then add coconut powder and dhaniya leaves in it..
  16. Mix it well.. Tadka ready..
  17. Then pour this tadka on khandvi and serve it.
