Potato Cheese Croquettes

Ingredients to make Potato Cheese Croquettes

  • 4-5 Boiled potato
  • 2 Cheese Cubes chopped
  • 2 tbs Corn flour
  • 1\2 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1\4 tsp red chilli Powder
  • 1\4 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 GREEN chilli CHOPPED
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
  • 1\4 tsp parsley
  • salt to taste
  • oil for Deep frying
  • 1\2 cup Bread Crumbs \vermicelli
  • 2 tbsp maida

How to make Potato Cheese Croquettes

  1. Peel and mashed the boiled potato
  2. In a mixing bowl , add mashed potato, onion ,red chilly powder, black pepper powder, green chilly , fresh coriander, parsley , bread crumbs salt and cornflour .
  3. Mix all the ingredient and make a dough .
  4. Now made balls out of the potato mixture and filled chopped cheese mixture inside and give shape of small ball .
  5. Dip the balls in a very thin maida batter and roll it in the bread crumbs (to make them much crispier roll in thin vermicelli ).
  6. Heat oil in the pan.
  7. When the oil become hot, deep fry till golden brown color .
  8. Serve hot with tomato sauce.

My Tip:

breadcrumbs would give the balls a bit of lightness / fluff so that they don't come out rock hard.
