ABOUT Potato Cheese Croquettes RECIPE

Potato Croquettes are very popular in Italy , its original shape is cylindrical . so i have tried to replicate the same but mine are round in shape.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 4-5 Boiled Potato
  2. 2 Cheese Cubes chopped
  3. 2 tbs Corn Flour
  4. 1\2 cup Bread Crumbs
  5. 1 onion chopped
  6. 1\4 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  7. 1\4 tsp Black Pepper
  8. 2 GREEN CHILLI CHOPPED
  9. 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
  10. 1\4 tsp Parsley
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil for Deep frying
  13. 1\2 cup Bread Crumbs \vermicelli
  14. 2 tbsp maida

Instructions

  1. Peel and mashed the boiled potato
  2. In a mixing bowl , add mashed potato, onion ,red chilly powder, black pepper powder, green chilly , fresh coriander, parsley , bread crumbs salt and cornflour .
  3. Mix all the ingredient and make a dough .
  4. Now made balls out of the potato mixture and filled chopped cheese mixture inside and give shape of small ball .
  5. Dip the balls in a very thin maida batter and roll it in the bread crumbs (to make them much crispier roll in thin vermicelli ).
  6. Heat oil in the pan.
  7. When the oil become hot, deep fry till golden brown color .
  8. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
