ABOUT Layerd onion paratha RECIPE

Everyone loves layered parathas, so this is a new variety of the same with onions.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. One cup of refined flour + one cup of plain flour [maida and aata]
  2. One cup finely chopped spring onion
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Half tea spn ajwain [carom seeds]
  5. Half cup butter or ghee
  6. Two tea spn hot oil
  7. Green chillies [chopped] - 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Knead a dough using the flours, ajwain, hot oil, salt and water. Keep aside to rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Now divide the dough into equal roundels, roll a roundel with rolling pin.
  3. Apply some ghee over the roti, spread some chopped onion and chilli on it .
  4. Roll it to form a cylinder.
  5. twist this to form a spiral dough.
  6. Now with help of dry maida ,Roll it and cook on tawa with butter or ghee
  7. Serve with chatni or pickle
