ABOUT Idada RECIPE

A perfect and healthy recipe for the evening hunger pangs.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2-cup rice
  2. 1-cup urad dal
  3. red chili powder 1-spoon
  4. black pepper powder -1 spoon
  5. chat masala-1/2 spoon
  6. Ajwain -1/2spoon
  7. oil
  8. Baking soda - 1/4 th tsp
  9. 1/2- cup curd

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice and dal for 4-5 hours.
  2. Now blend the dal and rice together to a fine mixture, add the curd and mix well. Keep aside for 4-5 hours to ferment.
  3. Now mix rest of the ingredients to the fermented mixture, pour this immediately into a greased dhokla plate, place this in a dhokla steamer, steam this for 15- 20 minutes.
  4. This is ready to be served.
