Ingredients to make Chocolate Buttermilk Cake

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whole wheat
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

How to make Chocolate Buttermilk Cake

  1. 1. Take a large bowl and add the milk and vinegar in it. Let it stand for five minutes while you collect the rest of the ingredients.
  2. 2. Add the egg into it along with the vanilla and oil.
  3. 3. Add hot water.
