Perfect for Sunday brunch... healthy and yummy...my whole family loves it...its a wholesome meal

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup rice
  2. 1/2 cup grated carrots
  3. 2 big pieces of jaggery
  4. 1 tsp Fennel seeds
  5. 1-2 cloves
  6. 1 tbsp or more Pure Ghee
  7. Dry fruits:- Almonds, cashews, raisins and coconut
  8. 2 Cups Water

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 cups of water and add Jaggery pieces to it
  2. Heat till jaggery dissolves completely..keep aside
  3. Soak Rice for 30 minutes..
  4. Take a pan...heat desi ghee...
  5. Add /fennel and cloves..roast a little
  6. Add grated carrots...roast a little
  7. now add rice...roast a little...
  8. Finally add jaggery syrup.. and all dry fruits.
  9. cook on medium flame ....switch off the flame when rice is almost done...
  10. keep covered for 10 minutes.., garnish with dry fruits...Enjoy hot.... Sumptuous
