ABOUT Pan Fried Sweet n Sour Chicken Rice Bowl RECIPE

Last week my daughter had 4 days holidays.One day she wanted me to cook something special for lunch as it was a holiday.She loves indo Chinese, but this time I wanted to make her happy with some innovative indo Chinese dish. So I made this sweet and tangy flavour chicken rice bowl.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chicken breast-2(cut each breastfeeding pieces into three parts)
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Black pepper-1/2teaspoon+1/2teaspoon
  4. Ginger garlic paste-2 teaspoons
  5. Soya sauce-1tablespoon
  6. Sweet chili sauce-1tablespoon
  7. Beans-5
  8. Carrot-1
  9. Capsicum -1
  10. Rice -2cups
  11. Oil-1/4cup+1/2teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Mix vinegar,salt
  2. Add ginger,garlic paste
  3. Add Soya sauce
  4. Add sweet chili sauce
  5. Mix well
  6. Add Cut beans
  7. Cut carrot
  8. Cut capsicum
  9. Mix all the veggies in the bowl and mix with chicken,keep aside for 30 minutes
  10. Add 2 cups Basmatti or polay rice in a bowl
  11. Soak with water for 30 minutes
  12. Add water with salt and oil,bring it to boil
  13. Strain the soaked water
  14. When the water will start boiling,add rice
  15. Cook until the rice is one third done,strain the water through a strainer
  16. Heat oil in a pan
  17. Add chicken pieces and fry
  18. Fry both sides until light brown,keep them in a plate
  19. Add marinated massala with veggies, fry on high flame until veggies are done,continously stirring
  20. Add rice and stir
  21. Add salt and pepper and stir well
  22. Now transfer the rice in a bowl and keep the chicken pieces on top of the rices serve with a bowl of green salad.It is a complete meal as it contains carb, protein,fat and vitamins minerals
