ABOUT Chocolate Dry fruits Panipuri RECIPE

Panipuri is a popular Indian street food and consumed as a snack. It is served in many ways using variety of fillings and different flavored water. It is also called as Golgappa, Fulki, GupChup, Paani ke Patashe etc.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Hard Shell Golgappas or Puris - 10 to 15
  2. Cooking dark Chocolate – 75-100 Grams
  3. Dry fruits crushed – 1/2 cup (Raisins, cashew nuts, Almonds)
  4. Chilled plain Rabri– 1 ½ cup
  5. Grated paneer – 1/4th cup
  6. Sprinklers – 1-2 tbsp.
  7. For Serving - Short glasses, grated chocolate, crushed dry fruits

Instructions

  1. Add grated paneer into the Rabri and refrigerate for 4-5 hrs.
  2. Chop dark chocolate and melt it in a double boiler or in microwave for 1 minute. If using microwave keep checking after every 10 seconds. Keep stirring after each cooking interval. Do this till chocolate melts completely.
  3. Using a fork, dip each Golgappa into the melted chocolate coating all side, garnish with sprinklers and place onto rack to dry. Brush or spoon can also be used for coating.
  4. Assembling - Before serving, pour chilled Rabri paneer mixture into short glasses.
  5. Take chocolate coated puri, break it from the center.
  6. Fill with some finely chopped dry fruit mixture and keep on glasses.
  7. Serve immediately.
