Very simple dish asusal known to all.when we think for party recipe for veg one can never forget to make kofte.Here is my recipe for all my friends.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cottage cheese 150gm
  2. Boiled potatoes 2
  3. Flour 2 to 3 tablespoon
  4. Onion 4
  5. Ginger 10 gm
  6. Cashew nuts 15 to 20
  7. Raisins 8 to 10
  8. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  10. Saffron 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Bay Leaves 1
  12. Green cardamom 2
  13. Tamato 2
  14. Ghee 3 tablespoon
  15. fresh cream 1/2cup
  16. Milk 1/2cup
  17. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. To prepare koftas, Mix Grated paneer, patatoes, red chilli powder, salt and garam masala.
  2. Cut side of breads . Dip in water, squeeze well.Add to patatoes _ paneer mixture.
  3. Divide the mixture equally.
  4. In one part add saffron. Mix It Properly till the colour came yellow.
  5. For fillings heat oil.Add onion and ginger. Fry till golden brown. Add Cashew nuts, Salt, garam masala,and chilli powder. Remove from fire.
  6. Add this mixture to yellow part of the mixture.
  7. Make equal ball from both mixture.
  8. Flanttend the white ball of paneer mixture, put the yellow paneer balls in each balls.
  9. ROLL each balls in Maida.
  10. Deep Fry all these koftas.
  11. To prepare the gravy,soak Kesar in milk.
  12. Grind onions, ginger and red chilli to a fine paste.
  13. Heat Oil In a heavy pan add above paste.
  14. Add the bay leaves , cardomom. Cook On low flame till oil separates.
  15. Add Tamato puree. Cook for 1/2 minutes.
  16. Add cashewnuts paste.Add garam masala and salt , cook for 2 minutes.
  17. Mix cream and milk.Add this into the gravy.
  18. Cook in slow flame for 5 minutes.
  19. Add kesar and remove form fire.
  20. Put the koftas into the gravy just before serving.
