Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Dates 1cup
  2. Fig 1cup
  3. Almond 1/4cup
  4. Cashewnut 1/4cup
  5. Walnut 1/4cup
  6. Pistachio 1/4cup
  7. Honey 1tbsp
  8. Ghee 1 tbsp
  9. Poppy seeds 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Soak dates and figs in hot water for 30minutes.
  2. Then,make paste of soaked dates and figs.
  3. In a pan,dry roast 1/4cup of almonds, cashews, walnuts and pistachios.
  4. See to that it does not get burnt.
  5. Cool n chop them into small pieces.
  6. Again in a pan, dry roast 3tbsp of khus-khus (poppy seeds) and set aside.
  7. Heat ghee in the pan and add the dates and fig purée.
  8. In a medium flame ,stir the purée till it loses its moisture and then add the chopped nuts.
  9. Add honey to the mixture and switch off the flame.
  10. Stir till all the moisture gets lost.
  11. Cool the mixture.
  12. Roll the cooled mixture into a cylinder and roll the cylinder on the poppy seeds so that it coats well.
  13. Wrap it immediately.
  14. Refrigerate it for 4hours n then cut into pieces..
  15. Healthy fruit and nut honey roll is ready to serve.
