ABOUT Poha chivda RECIPE

This Crispy Poha chivda gets its crispness from the fried Poha, nuts like cashew and peanuts and tempering of Chana daal. Lightly spiced beautifully flavoured. Can easily make anytime or on festive ocassions like diwali. Needs few minutes to assemble before and after frying. Can make In bulk and store.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Thick Poha - 2 cups
  2. Chana Daal - 2 tsps
  3. Sauf - 2 tsps
  4. Peanuts - 2 tsps
  5. Cashewnuts - 15
  6. Curry leaves - few springs
  7. Red chilli powder - 1 to 2 tsps
  8. Salt to taste
  9. sugar - 1tsp

Instructions

  1. Keep oil for deep frying
  2. Fry the Poha and keep aside on a kitchen tissue
  3. Now keep frying every item individually in hot oil and drain on tissue
  4. Add the fried nuts, chana daal to the fried Poha
  5. Add salt, fried curry leaves, fried saunf, red chilli powder to the mixture
  6. Sprinkle sugar
  7. Mix well. Ready to eat.
