Sweet Ragi (Finger Millet) Dosa

Ingredients to make Sweet Ragi (Finger Millet) Dosa

  • Finger millet Flour - 1 Cup
  • salt - 1 Tablespoon
  • Rice flour - 1 Cup
  • palm jaggery Syrup - 1/2 Cup
  • ghee - As required
  • cashew nuts / other dry fruits - As required
  • water - As required to make the batter

How to make Sweet Ragi (Finger Millet) Dosa

  1. Preparing the Palm Jaggery Syrup : In a sauce pan, boil one cup of water.
  2. Add the palm jaggery and wait till it melts. Allow it to cool.
  3. To prepare the dosa : Take a bowl, add the millet flour, rice flour and salt. Add the palm jaggery syrup and mix it. Pour water and keep mixing till you get the appropriate thickness to make the dosa.
  4. Apply ghee. Flip it and cook the other side as well.
  5. Add ghee once again and sprinkle cashews and other dry fruits of your choice.

My Tip:

I used organic finger millet flour and organic palm jaggery to make this dosa.
