Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. All purpose flour- 1 1/2 cup
  2. Cocoa powder- 1/8 cup
  3. Baking powder- 1 tsp
  4. Baking soda- 1/8 tsp
  5. Softened butter- 1/4 cup
  6. Sugar cinnamon powder- 1 cup (grind 3/4 cup sugar with 3 pcs of cinnamon)
  7. Chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate- 1/2 cup
  8. Red food colour- 3 tsp
  9. Vinegar- 1 tsp
  10. vanilla essence-1 tsp
  11. Buttermilk-1 tablesoon
  12. egg- 2
  13. Salt-1/4 tsp
  14. Sugar- 1 cup

Instructions

  1. IN A BOWL ADD 1 1/2 CUP MAIDA WITH 1/8 CUP COCOA POWDER,1 TSP BAKING POWDER, 1/4 TSP SALT,1/8 TSP BAKING SODA AND MIX
  2. MIX WELL EVENLY WITHOUT LUMPS
  3. IN ANOTHER BOWL ADD 1 CUP SUGAR, 1/4 CUP SOFTENED OR MELTED BUTTER
  4. AND BEAT TILL SUGAR MIXES WITH BUTTER
  5. THEN ADD 1 EGG AT A TIME AND BEAT TILL FORTHY, LIKEWISE ADD 2 EGGS
  6. AND BEAT TILL SUGAR DISSOLVES AND MIXTURE BECOMES FORTHY
  7. NOW ADD 1 TBSP BUTTERMILK, 1 TSP VANILLA, 1 TSP VINEGAR, 3 TSP FOOD COLOR TO EGG MIXTURE
  8. AND BEAT FOR 30 SECONDS TILL MIXED
  9. NOW ADD THE DRY INGREDIENTS LITTLE BY LITTLE AND MIX
  10. ONCE THE DRY INGREDIENT MIXTURE IS ADDED COMPLETELY AND MIXED, ADD CHOCOLATES BITS AND MIX EVENLY
  11. MIX TILL YOU GET STICKY DOUGH, REFRIGERATE THE DOUGH FOR 2 HOURS OR TILL THE DOUGH THICKENS
  12. AFTER SUFFICIENT REFRIGERATION, THE DOUGH MUST BE THICK, STICKY, EASY TO MAKE BALLS CONSISTENCY
  13. USING GREASED PALMS MAKE SMALL BALLS, ROLL IT IN 1 CUP SUGAR CINNAMON POWDER AND PLACE IN GREASED BAKING TRAY
  14. GRIND 3/4 CUP SUGAR WITH 3 PCS OF CINNAMON TO GET SUGAR CINNAMON POWDER
  15. WHEN THE TRAY IS FILLED, USING BACKSIDE OF SPOON , SLIGHTLY PRESS THE DOUGH TO FLATTEN THE TOP A LITTLE
  16. BAKE @ 170 PREHEATED OVEN FOR 20 MINS IN UPPER RACK
  17. WHEN COOLED TO ROOM TEMPERATURE ENJOY CRUNCHY, CRISPY RED VELVET CRUNCHIES
  18. TO GET SOFT COOKIES BAKE AT 180' FOR 12-15 MINS IN LOWER RACK
