Capsicum Stuff

Ingredients to make Capsicum Stuff

  • 4 Medium Sized Green Capsicum
  • 1 Cup (250 Gms) Peanuts
  • 3 Tsp Flax Seeds
  • 2 Tsp Channa Dal / Bengal Gram
  • 1 Tsp Urad Dal/ Black Gram
  • 3 Dry Red Chillies
  • 1 Tsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • Salt to taste

How to make Capsicum Stuff

  1. Roast all the ingredients except the onion and salt. Now coarsely grind it. Mix the salt and chopped onions into the powder. Wash the capsicum, slit the the top (ensure it is not fully slit),remove the center and deseed them.
  2. Stuff 3/4 of the capsicum with the onion and powder mix. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a wok. Place the stuffed capsicum and close the lid. Keep it on a medium flame till it is nicely done (Approx 20 to 25 minutes).
  3. Serve hot with steamed rice and rasam to enjoy!
My Tip: Flax seeds adds a nice and crunchy taste.
