Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Sweet Potato boiled with skin peeled and mashed - 1 Cup
  2. Grated Jaggery - 1 cup
  3. Pure ghee - 1 tsp
  4. Cashews - few

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel, remove ends and grate the sweet potato.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and fry cashews and keep aside
  3. Take jaggery equal to the quantity of mashed sweet potato
  4. Heat a pan, add jaggery and a cup of water.
  5. When jaggery thickens a little (like honey), add mashed sweet potato.
  6. Cook the whole mixture for a few min,till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan
  7. Garnish with fried cashews

The description of the recipe is really good.... Halwa using Sweet Potato is different. I hope this would be good recipe for the kids.
