ABOUT Potato maize paratha RECIPE

Maize is eaten in simple roti form. The recipe uses potatoes and maize flour .It can be eaten for breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maize flour two cups
  2. Boiled and mashed potato 2
  3. salt as per taste
  4. Ajwain a pinch
  5. Green chillies 2 finely chopped
  6. Onion 1 finely chopped
  7. Garlic 5 cloves finely chopped
  8. Ginger a bit finely chopped
  9. ghee for sauteeing
  10. Amchur a tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients and knead the flour Add some water if required
  2. Divide the kneaded flour into different portions
  3. With help of palms flatten each portion into round shaped rotis
  4. Alternatively can be rolled out by dusting flour on cooktop using rolling pin
  5. Heat a tawa
  6. Cook the parathas using ghee on both sides until crisp and evenly cooked
  7. Serve with pickle or simple tea
