ABOUT Crunchy honey flapjacks RECIPE

Goodness of oats and honey.. With the crunch of dried fruits, take it on the go for an instant every boost. Great for kids and adults both alike.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 100 gm honey
  2. 100 gm brown sugar
  3. 100 gm butter
  4. 200 gm oats
  5. 50 gm dried fruits ( cherries and cranberries)

Instructions

  1. Measure all the ingredients and keep aside.
  2. In a pan on gas, add butter, sugar and honey.
  3. Mix well on low flame, till all the sugar melts.
  4. Add oats and dried fruits to it. I took mix of dried pitted cherries and cranberries.
  5. Mix it all well for a min or so till it all comes together.
  6. Put the mix in a pan lined with parchment paper and press it well, levelling it on top with the back of a flat spatula.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree C for 10-15 mins until the sides brown but the centre is soft.
  8. Let it cool, it will become little hard on cooling. Cut into pieces your choice and serve them on the go or when an instant source of energy is required.
