ABOUT Chocolate Honey Granola RECIPE

Chocolate honey granola is a super healthy and delicious dish that can be served for breakfast or brunch with milk, or even as a snack, as is. It is loaded with the goodness of oats, honey, nuts, and seeds. Chocolate makes it more tasty and appetizing. I was inspired by the chocolate granola recipe from the Big Sweet Tooth, however have made my own additions to the recipe according to my taste.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rolled oats - 1/3 cup
  2. Honey - 1/4 cup
  3. Pumpkin seeds - 2 tbsp
  4. Flax seeds - 2 tbsp
  5. Chopped Almonds - 2 tbsp
  6. Chopped pistachios - 2 tbsp
  7. Black raisins - 1 tbsp
  8. Cocoa powder - 1/4 Cup
  9. Chocolate (chopped) - 25 g
  10. Butter - 20 g
  11. Cane sugar - 2 tbsp
  12. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade.
  2. Except chocolate and raisins, take all the ingredients in a baking tray.
  3. Mix everything well.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Then add the chopped chocolate pieces and raisins and mix well.
  6. Bake again for another 10 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool down completely.
  8. Serve it as it is with more honey, or with milk.
