Ingredients: All purpose flour- 1 1/2 cups; Baking soda- 1/4 tsp; Salt- a pinch (skip if using salted butter); Powdered brown sugar- 1/2 cup; Unsalted butter- 100gms(must be softened); Large Egg-1; Chocolate chips- 3/4 cup; Vanilla extract- 1 tsp; Baking powder- 1/4 tsp

All purpose flour- 1 1/2 cups
Baking soda- 1/4 tsp
Salt- a pinch (skip if using salted butter)
Powdered brown sugar- 1/2 cup
Unsalted butter- 100gms(must be softened)
Large Egg-1
Chocolate chips- 3/4 cup
Vanilla extract- 1 tsp
Baking powder- 1/4 tsp

Instructions

Preheat oven at 180 deg C. Grease and line 2 large cookie sheets.
Take butter in a large and clean glass bowl and start whipping till light(2 minutes), add the sugar and whip again till fluffy (another 2 minutes).
Now add the vanilla extract and egg and whip well.
Combine the dry ingredients -flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder together.
Add dry ingredients to the creamed butter- sugar mix and combine well.
Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and mix lightly.
Chill dough for 15-20 minutes.
Drop rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets and press to flatten slightly. Bake for about 10 minutes till golden.
Take out and cool on wire racks.
To prepare Chocolate drizzle- Melt 1/4 cup chocolate chips in the microwave, prepare a small icing bag by using thick parchment, pour melted chocolate into the bag and drizzle on top of cookies.
