This is a delicious breakfast option made with rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice -2 cup
  2. Coconut grated - 2 cups
  3. Chopped onion -1 cup
  4. Chopped green chillies -1teas
  5. Mustard seeds
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Oil -2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan , add the rice. Saute it well ,when the aroma comes, turn off and allow to room temperature. Then grind the rice into a coarse powder.
  2. Put it into the bowl,add coconut, add salt to taste. Add little bit of water. mix well like tight wet sand
  3. Heat a pan add oil and mustard seeds,channadal, onion, green chillies, curry leaves saute it well.
  4. Add the rice, mix well for 2 minutes turn off the stove. Heat the idli pot
  5. Take lemon size tough roll it oval shape, steam it for 8 minutes
  6. Now this is ready to be served with coconut chutney
