Ingredients to make Majjiga

  • 2 cups of beaten curd
  • 4 cups of water
  • A pinch of freshly ground pepper
  • or a pinch of rock salt
  • or a pinch of hing
  • or a pinch of freshly ground roasted cumin seeds powder

How to make Majjiga

  1. Beat the curds well. Then dilute it with water.
  2. Add the required powder to it and mix it well.
  3. This can be consumed at room temperature or served chilled as per your desire.
My Tip: A tadka with half a teaspoon of oil/ghee with hing and curry leaves also goes a long way in maintaining one's health.
