ABOUT Majjiga RECIPE

Majjiga is the telugu word for buttermilk. It is usually prepared by adding water to beaten curd. The ratio of water to beaten curd plays an important role. So are the other additives that are added to majjiga. For someone who is on a diet, beaten curds to water should be 1:2 or 1:3 ratio. Also, adding a pinch of freshly crushed pepper or a pinch of hing, or roasted cumin seeds powder or a teaspoon full of coriander leaves all play a very important role in digestion and there by in healthy weight loss.
