Masala Murmure

Ingredients to make Masala Murmure

  • Puffed rice- 3 cups
  • curry leaves 10- 15
  • Dried red chillis - 2-3
  • mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • red chilli - 1 tsp
  • amchur powder - 1/2 tsp
  • lemon -1
  • oil - 1 tbsp

How to make Masala Murmure

  1. Add oil to a pan and heat on a medium flame. Put in the mustard seeds and red chillis.
  2. Once the seeds splutter, add the curry leaves and fry till they are crispy on a low- medium flame.
  3. Next add the puffed rice and mix it well. Squeeze the lemon on top and mix again.
  4. Keep this mixture on a low flame till the puffed rice is crispy.
