Pizza Pockets

Ingredients to make Pizza Pockets

  • Whole wheat pizza dough
  • 1/2 jar of Marinara sauce
  • 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese

How to make Pizza Pockets

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degree celsius. Prepare the pan by placing one sheet of dough over the pan. Gently shape the dough into pockets. Put one sheet on baking dish, spoon filling in to each pocket.
  2. Take the remaining dough sheet and lay it over the pan, matching your bottom sheet. Make sure to seal the edges with the roller or a fork.
  3. Remove any excess dough. Place the prepared pockets into the oven and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.
  4. Heat the marinara sauce on a low flame in a pan.
  5. Serve these hot pizza pockets along with the marinara as a dipping sauce.

My Tip:

If you do not have a pan, make two sheets of dough of the same size. Just like ravioli, spread the filling in one side.
