About Murmura Laddoos Recipe

Crisp puffed rice combined with jaggery makes for a healthy, rich in minerals anytime snack or dessert.

Murmura Laddoos

Ingredients to make Murmura Laddoos

  • Puffed rice (murmura)- 200gms
  • jaggery(gur)- 500gms
  • water- 2 cups

How to make Murmura Laddoos

  1. Break the jaggery into small pieces.
  2. Dry roast the murmura briefly in a pan. . Let cool.
  3. In a heavy saucepan, combine jaggery and water and boil over low heat till a 2 thread consistency is reached.
  4. Add in the murmura. Mix well.
  5. Form balls/laddoos while the mixture is still warm.
  6. Let cool completely and serve.
