Ingredients to make Fruit tart

  • 1 1/2 cup Flour
  • 110g Butter
  • 3 Eggs yolks
  • 2 tbsp Castor Sugar
  • For the Custard Cream
  • 1 cup Milk (full fat)
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup Castor Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • Toppings:
  • Kiwi
  • Papaya
  • Apple
  • Cherries
  • Grapes

How to make Fruit tart

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C. Mix the flour and butter with your hands.
  2. Add sugar and egg yolks and combine well to form a sough.
  3. Cover and rerfigerate for 30 min.
  4. Roll out the dough into a 2mm thickness. Place this on the tart tin and trim the edges.
  5. Bake for 20 mins. Remove and cool.
  6. Whisk egg yolks, flour and sugar in a bowl.
  7. Heat milk in a saucepan. Add this to the egg mixture gradually.
  8. Transfer this to the saucepan and cook over medium heat until it thickens. Remove from heat and let it cool
  9. Place the custard into the tart shells. Top with kiwi, papaya, cherries, apples and grapes.
  10. Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve.
