Ingredients to make Shahi halwa for winter special

  • 1/4 cup suji (semolina)
  • 1/4 cup atta (wheat flour)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup mix dry fruit powder (kaju, baddam and akhrot)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp cream or fresh malai
  • 7-8 raisins
  • 4 tbsp ghee

How to make Shahi halwa for winter special

  1. Heat suji and atta together in ghee and roast it till it becomes light brown in colour.
  2. Keep the flame low and add sugar and milk together. Mix it well and stir it regularly.
  3. Now add dry fruit powder and malai. Stir it well together.
  4. Continue stirring till the halwa leaves the pan sides.
  5. Garnish with raisins and serve it hot.
My Tip: We can also add besan to this dish.
