ABOUT honey glazed bitter gourd RECIPE

Bitter gourd is the one which as name is bitter in taste but very useful vegetable it has minerals vitamins and moreover very healthy for diebitic persons ;sometimes we are bored of eating in same way I gave it little twist and made it in chinese style making more healt by adding honey to it believe me it turned out so tasty that I could not stopped having it so today sharing my innovation with bittergourd

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 250 Gms bittergourd
  2. 1 onion chopped
  3. 1tbsp Cornflour
  4. 1Tbsp all purpose flour /maidaa
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 5_6Garlic finely chopped
  7. 2Green chhillies chopped
  8. 1Small pieceof ginger chhopped
  9. 1Tbsp ketchup
  10. 1tbsp red chilli sauce
  11. 1tsp soya sauce
  12. Little spring onions chopped for garnishing
  13. 1tsp sesame seeds
  14. Oil for Deep frying
  15. 2tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Remove the rough part of bittergourd
  2. Cut them into 2inch of pieces
  3. Dry it on clean kitchen towel
  4. Keep all the ingredients ready
  5. Sprinkle all purpose flour on bittergourd
  6. Sprinnkle cornflour on bittergourd
  7. Now mix it with fingers
  8. Now keep oil on flame for frying
  9. When oil becomes hot add bittergourd and deep fry them
  10. Add some more
  11. Now remove it in plate when they turn goldden and crispy
  12. After frying remove all extra oil and keep 1tsp oil in pan
  13. Add ginger garlic and green chillies
  14. Fry them for a minute
  15. Now add onions
  16. Saute them
  17. Now add sesame seeds
  18. Saute them and add soy sauce
  19. Add honey
  20. Add tomato ketchup
  21. Add red chilli sauce
  22. Mix it properly
  23. Now add fried bittergourd
  24. Mix them thourghly And add salt
  25. Honey glazed bitter gourd is ready to serve
  26. Remove in serving plate and drizzle honey and sprinkle some chopped spring onions
