Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 6 pcs. Bread slice
  2. 4-5 pcs. potato- boiled and mashed
  3. 2 pcs. greenchillies (finely chopped)
  4. 1 cup curd
  5. ½ tsp red chilli powder
  6. ½ tsp garam masala
  7. ½ tsp jeera powder (cumin powder)
  8. salt to taste
  9. ½ tsp mustard seeds
  10. 4-5 pcs. curry leaves
  11. ½ tablespoon coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  12. 2 Tablespoons Oil
  13. 2 tablespoons Mint Chutney
  14. 2 tablespoons Imli Chutney
  15. 1/4th cup AlooBhujia

Instructions

  1. Cut the bread slices in a round shape with help of a cutter and keep aside.
  2. Mash the potatoes. Mix them with salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, jeera powder, coriander leaves and make 6 small balls of this mixture.
  3. Whisk curd to make it smooth. Now heat 1 tbsp of oil, make a tadka(tempering) by adding some mustard seeds and curry leaves to it. Now add this to curd and mix it well. Add very little salt in curd mixture.
  4. Now take one round piece of bread and gently stick one portion of potato mixture on one side of the bread and press it evenly on the whole bread.
  5. Repeat it for all the 6 bread pieces.
  6. On a non sticktawa or pan, add a little oil and place the bread slices. Cook it from both sides until golden.
  7. Take it off the pan. Immediately Pour 1-2 tablespoons of curd mixture on the top of the bread side (not potato) and spread it evenly.
  8. Also add some bhujia, imli and green chutney dollops or streaks. Serve warm.
