ABOUT bittergourd pickle RECIPE

A delicious and diabetic friendly pickle which is easy to make and absolutely finger licking good.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500gm karela [bitter gourd]
  2. salt as per taste
  3. For stuffing
  4. Jeera 1tsp
  5. fenuureek 1 and half tbsp
  6. fennel 1and half tbsp
  7. onion seed 1tbsp
  8. red chilly as per taste
  9. oil 1 tbsp for frying nd rest 1tbsp or more to pour
  10. Turmeric half tbsp
  11. for oil fryingall ingredient 1_1 tsp

Instructions

  1. wash bitter gourd and clean with a towel
  2. peel and slit. Marinate with turmeric and salt for 2 hour
  3. after 2 hour wash well..squeeze all the excess water and dry with a towel.
  4. now mix all spices and stuff the bitter gourds with it.
  5. take a pan add 1tbsp oil , heat and add all the spices...after colour changes, add bitter gourd. cook until soft
  6. cool them...heat sufficient oil...cool it down...pour cooked bitter gourds in a container...pour oil and store.
