ABOUT Crispy honey chilli baby corn RECIPE

Simple, tasty, flavorful and easy Indo - Chinese starter recipe. Crispy baby corn tossed in a sweet & spicy sauce along with cubed bell peppers & onions.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Babycorns 10-12
  2. 2 tbsp corn flour
  3. 1 tbsp Rice Flour
  4. black pepper powder 1 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1-2 tbsp water
  7. Capsicum 1 medium, cubed
  8. Onion 2 medium, cubed
  9. Grated ginger 1 tsp
  10. Sliced garlic 1 tsp
  11. Chopped Green chillies 4
  12. Chilli flakes 1 tsp
  13. Vinegar 1 tsp
  14. Honey 1 tbsp
  15. Chilli sauce 2 tbsp
  16. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. For Crispy Babycorns. Chopped the Babycorns itno 1 inch pieces.
  2. Boil the chopped Babycorns for 2-3 mins.
  3. Drain and wipe gently with a kitchen towel.
  4. Heat oil for frying.
  5. Take both the flours, black pepper powder, salt, babycorns, little water in a mixing bowl add mix well.
  6. Fry the coated baby corns in hot oil until golden brown. Drain and set aside.
  7. Now come to th sauce. Take a bowl add honey, chilli sauce, little water and mix well.
  8. In the same pan remove excess oil retaining 2-3 tsp oil.
  9. Add the chopped garlic, grated ginger and saute for 2-3 minutes.
  10. Add the onions and cubed bell peppers in high flame for 3-4 mins.
  11. Add salt, vinegar, Chilli flakes, half of the sauce and mix.
  12. Now put fried baby corns in it toss well and drizzle remaining sauce in it.
  13. Serve Crispy honey chilli baby corns immediately.
