ABOUT Vegetable Gratin RECIPE

Vegetables tossed in cheesy white sause and layered with cheese

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 tbsp maida
  2. 2 tbsp melted butter
  3. 1 cup milk
  4. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  5. Salt as required
  6. One teaspoon sugar
  7. 1/2 teaspoon Basel (optional)
  8. 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
  9. 1/2 cup finely chopped beans
  10. 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
  11. 100 grm paneer cut into small cubes
  12. 2 tablespoon Amul fresh cream.
  13. 1/2 cup Mozilla cheese
  14. 1/2 cup processed cheese
  15. 1 tbsp breadcrumbs.

Instructions

  1. In a pan , add melted butter and maida. After a minute or so add cold milk to it and whisk it continuously so that there are no lumps in it . Add salt sugar ,and black pepper n basal leaf to it ,in it . Cook till the sause thickens.
  2. In a pressure cooker, add beans ,carrot and capsicum with little amount of water and cook it till 3 wistle
  3. Strain the Vegetables and add it to the sause. Add paneer to it. Sause must be thick enough.After closing the gas add 2 table spoon processed cheese and 2 table spoon of Mozirella cheese. After it add 2 table spoon of amul cream.
  4. Take a baking dish. Pour the gratin in it . Add both the cheese n the breadcrumbs an cover it completely.
  5. Bake it at 180°c for 20 minutes or till it is golden brown. Serve it hot.
