Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Lime 25 numbers
  2. Coriander powder 3table spoon
  3. Fenugreek powder 2table spoon
  4. Asafoetida powder 1 tea spoon
  5. Chilly powder 3 table spoon
  6. Husked mustard 2 table spoon
  7. Shallots sliced 1 cup
  8. Garlic sliced 1/2 cup
  9. Vinegar or tamarind juice 3/4 cup
  10. Thick jaggery syrup 1/2 cup
  11. Minced ginger and green chillies 1/4 cup each
  12. Oil 1 cup
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Dry chillies 12
  15. curry leaves
  16. Mustard 1 table spoon

Instructions

  1. Cook the ginger and green chillies in a little water till dry. Steam cook limes (whole) till soft. Wipe them dry and then cut into pieces
  2. Fry onion and then add garlic fry it and keep aside
  3. Fry mustard fenugreek, broken chillies and the curry leaves
  4. Add cooked ginger and green chillies and the powders.
  5. Add lime pieces and saute for two minutes.
  6. Add vinegar/tamarind juice
  7. Add salt, jaggery syrup and fried things. Let it simmer till thick. Bottle when cold.
