A yummy snack and side dish.

Kofta

Ingredients to make Kofta

  • Plantains (raw banana) - 4 nos
  • potato - 1
  • ginger paste- 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • chilli powder- 1 tsp
  • dhania powder- 1 tsp
  • Amchoor powder - a pinch
  • Kasoori methi- 1 tsp
  • oil for shallow frying

How to make Kofta

  1. Boil the plantains and potato.
  2. Remove the skin and mash them very nicely with all the spices. (Mash when they are still warm so that lumps won't form).
  3. Make lemon size balls of these koftas and shallow fry in oil till they turn golden brown.
  4. Serve these koftas as a snack with sauce or make a gravy dish with the koftas.
