Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 gms green peas
  2. 2 medium potatoes peeled and chopped
  3. 4-5 tbsp oil
  4. 1 tbsp minced garlic
  5. 1 tbsp grated ginger
  6. 3 green chilies chopped
  7. 10-12 curry leaves
  8. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  9. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  10. 1/3 tsp coriander powder
  11. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  13. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds powder
  14. 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
  15. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. start to heat up a kadhai or a pan. add the oil. add the cumin seeds to the heated oil, let it splutter. add the green chilies, curry leaves, minced garlic and the grated ginger. saute for 30-45 secs.
  2. add the chopped potatoes. cook them on a medium heat for minute. add salt to taste as enough for the potatoes. lower the heat, cover the lid and cook for a minute... or till the potatoes are half done.
  3. add the green peas...saute for a minute on medium heat. again cover the lid, lower the flame and cook for around 2 minute or till the potatoes are completely done. open the lid add salt to taste..mix it well.
  4. when the green peas and potatoes are nicely cooked...add all the dry spices and mix it well...mouthwatering green peas curry is ready to serve.
