Paneer bhuna roll is a rich and spicy paneer snack served in many Indian restaurants. Paneer, also called as cottage cheese is an ingredient which is popular in the Indian cuisine. Paneer bhuna roll can be served as starter at parties or at social gatherings.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Oil 1 tablespoon
  2. Cumin seed 1 teaspoon
  3. Onion 1 cup chopped + 2 tablespoons
  4. Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoons
  5. Red chilli powder 2 tablespoons
  6. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  7. Coriander powder 1 and 1/2 teaspoons
  8. Cashewnut paste 1/4 cup
  9. Curd 1/4 cup
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
  12. Paneer - 150grams grated
  13. Coriander leaves to taste
  14. All purpose flour 1 cup
  15. Water as needed
  16. Vinegar - 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Take a pan add oil and cumin seeds and stir it.
  2. Add onion, ginger garlic paste, red chilli paste, turmeric powder and saute it for 2 min.
  3. Then, add kaju paste, coriander powder, and stir it.
  4. Add curd, salt, garam masala, paneer, coriander leaves and stir it for 1 min. The stuffing is ready.
  5. In a bowl mix maida, salt, water and make a soft dough.
  6. Make small portions of the dough and roll it to make parantha.
  7. Put 2 tablespoon of the paneer mixture in the middle, then put some chopped onion on top and add few drops of vinegar. Roll the parantha and seal around the ends.
  8. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the rolls on both sides.
  9. Now, cut into pieces and serve with chutney.
  10. Delicious paneer bhuna roll is ready to eat.
