Ingredients to make Cream of chicken oats soup

  • Boneless chicken cut into threads - 1 bowl
  • Oats -1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic cloves - 4
  • Crushed peppercorns as per spice
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Butter - for serving and preparation of soup
  • Corn starch for thickness
  • Cream - 1 bowl
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • 1 carrot finely chopped
  • Handful of spring onions, finely chopped

How to make Cream of chicken oats soup

  1. Take a vessel, add 1 tbsp of butter and heat it. Next add in the chopped onion, garlic, carrot. Saute these vegetables well then add in the shredded chicken. Pour in 4 glasses of water, then add the pepper. Next, add in the oats and cook it.
  2. Now pour in the milk, add the cream and continue stirring. Finely add cornstarch and bring it to a boil.
  3. Garnish with spring onions and pepper powder. This soup is ready to be served with a blob of butter.
  4. Serve it hot for best taste.
