An easy-peasy dish that can be prepared by anyone as it has simple ingredients.

Oats savory porridge

Ingredients to make Oats savory porridge

  • Oats- 2 bowl
  • ginger-garlic paste- 2 tsp
  • oil- 2 tbsp
  • ghee for serving
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • Finely chopped beans- 1 cup
  • lemon juice -1
  • coriander leaves- 2 tsp
  • red chilli powder-1 and 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder-1 tsp
  • chicken shredded- 1 cup
  • salt to taste
  • tomato- 2 chopped
  • onions-3 medium sized, chopped
  • water-2 glass

How to make Oats savory porridge

  1. Take a cooker, add in oil to heat, then add the chopped onions and tomatoes. Saute it well, then add the chopped beans, carrot and mix well. Then add the ginger-garlic paste, other spices and mix well again. Now, add the oats ,chicken, water, stir well and keep it to cook until 3 whistles blow.
  2. After the whistles blow, turn off the the flame and let it cool.
  3. Once cooled, add the coriander leaves and stir it well.
  4. Transfer it to a serving dish, add ghee on top and serve it hot.
