Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled sweet potatoes 2
  2. 1 tsp chopped ginger
  3. 1 tbsp chopped onion
  4. 1 tbsp chopped mint leaves
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 tsp red chili powder
  7. 1 tsp chopped green chili
  8. For stuffing: - cheese 1 tbsp
  9. 1/4 tsp black pepper
  10. salt to taste
  11. Tomato sauce 1 tsp
  12. Refined flour and water batter - as required
  13. Cup of oil for shallow/deep Fry tikki
  14. For garnish Sweet potato chips as required
  15. Coriander leaves as required

Instructions

  1. Mash boiled sweet potatoes. Add chopped ginger, chopped onion, chopped mint leaves, salt and red chili powder. Mix well.
  2. Add the chopped green chili and mix. Stuff cheese in between and make tikkis from this mixture.
  3. Spread the poha on a plate. Coat the tikkis in the refined flour batter and lightly roll in the poha.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry /deep fry tikkis on medium flame till golden brown. Garnish with sweet potato chips and coriander leaves.
  5. Place the tikkis on the serving plate.
