Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. FOR THE PATTICE
  2. Peas 1 cup boiled
  3. Dill leaves 1 bunch
  4. Mint leaves 1/4 cup
  5. Green chillies 2
  6. Oil
  7. FOR SALAD
  8. Hung curd 1.5 cup
  9. Grated beetroot 2
  10. Grated carrot 1
  11. Cabbage 1/4 finely cut
  12. 3 to 4 crushed garlic
  13. Sugar a pinch
  14. Salt a pinch
  15. FOR JOWAR ROTIS
  16. Jowar flour 2 cups
  17. Salt a pinch
  18. Luke warm Water to make dough
  19. Oil 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Keep all the ingridents ready
  2. FOR THE PATTICE
  3. Boil the peas in hot water and immediately put the peas in cold water so that they dont loose their color
  4. Take peas ,add dill leaves ,mint leaves and chillies and grind to a paste
  5. Do not add salt
  6. Take Appe pan and make pea appes till golden brown on both sides with minimum oil( if you prefer you can deep fry these balls)
  7. FOR THE JOWAR ROTI
  8. Take the jowar flour add salt and oil and knead the dough with warm water.
  9. Make the dough soft.
  10. Make small rotis and roast the roti on tawa on both the sides and apply ghee on both the sides( if you cannot make small roti make a big 1 and cut with a round cookie cutter)
  11. FOR THE SALAD
  12. Take the hung curd.Add crushed garlic sugar and salt and mix well.Add the cabbage carrots and beetroots.
  13. Mix well.Adjust the salt if needed
  14. ASSEMBLE
  15. Take a plate and arrange the baby rotison it
  16. Place the Pea Tikki on the roti
  17. Spoon the salad on top
  18. Top with mint yougurt chutney and another layer of roti
  19. Serve as it is. very tasty and guilt free starter.
