Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Green peas 1 cup
  2. chopped onion half cup
  3. chopped green chili 1 tbsp
  4. curry leaves litte
  5. coriander leaves little
  6. salt as per the taste
  7. sugar 1 tbsp
  8. cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  9. water as per dough prepration
  10. rice flour 2 cups
  11. refined oil 5 tbsp or ghee or butter

Instructions

  1. Boil the green peas by adding water.
  2. In a mixing owl, add boiled green peas, chopped onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt , sugar. Mix all these ingredients nicely by adding little water.
  3. Now add rice flour to all this. Mix well again, by adding water if necessary.
  4. Knead it well to form a soft dough.
  5. Now, heat a skillet. Take a small quantity of our green peas dough. Pat it on the skillet circularly. Apply oil/ghee/butter to this.
  6. Flip another side of the thalipittu. Apply oil or ghee or butter to this side also.
  7. Cook until this thalipittu turns to golden color.
  8. Serve this with chutney.
