Ingredients to make Eggless Vegan Rainbow Tea Cake

  • Dry Ingredients- 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup semolina
  • 1/2 cup fine oats powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon chopped nuts (any kind)
  • 1 tablespoon tooty-fruity
  • Wet Ingredients - 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup olive or soya bean oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Food coloring - 3 to 4 colors of your choice

How to make Eggless Vegan Rainbow Tea Cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 degree centigrade for 15 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl mix all the dry ingredients and make a well in the middle.
  3. In another mixing bowl add sugar and oil. Whisk this with the help of hand blender until sugar is completely dissolved and creamed.
  4. Add vanilla essence and pour this sugar mixture in the well of the dry ingredients.
  5. Fold everything slowly with a spatula. Try to stir it to one side only. Add 1/2 cup of water and again stir slowly to one side only.
  6. Divide into 3 - 4 parts. Tint each batter with a different color. Grease a silicone cake mold.
  7. Start putting the batter one ladle at a time of a different colour till the whole batter is poured in the mould.
  8. Bake the cake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool down completely and cut into desired shapes.
