Ingredients to make Chicken Cutlet

  • 4 Chicken breasts (boneless)
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 2 Eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp Lime juice
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

How to make Chicken Cutlet

  1. Cut the chicken breast into half.
  2. Butterfly the chicken breast and using a rolling pin, flatten each chicken breast to about a ½ inch.
  3. Marinate the chicken with lime juice,salt and pepper for 15 mins .
  4. Spread the grated cheese onto each chicken breast and roll up the chicken and secure it with toothpicks.
  5. Mix the beaten eggs, salt and red chilli powder and place it in a shallow dish. In another shallow dish, spread the breadcrumbs.
  6. Dip each chicken breasts in eggs then in bread crumbs.
  7. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the cutlets till golden brown.
