Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup green peas or snow peas
  2. 1/2 cup sliced baby corn
  3. 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrot
  4. 1/2 cup broccoli florets
  5. 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  6. 1/4 cup sliced mushroom
  7. 1/4 cup chopped onion
  8. 1 1/2 tsp crushed garlic
  9. 1 1/2 tsp oil
  10. Salt to taste
  11. To be mixed into sauce:
  12. 1/2 tsp soya sauce
  13. 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  14. 1 tsp hoisin sauce
  15. 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  16. 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. 1. Blanch the vegetables till they are tender.
  2. 2. Drain and put in cold water for 5 minutes, again drain and keep aside.
  3. 3. Heat the oil in pan and add the onion, garlic saute for 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the bean sprouts, saute for another minute.
  5. 5. Add the blanched vegetables, salt stir fry over high flame for 3 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the prepared sauce and bring to boil, stirring continuously.
  7. 7. Serve immediate with fried rice or hakka noodles or chilli garlic noodles.
