About Instant Rabri Recipe

This recipe is a quick and easy to make with the simplest ingredients ever. My sister once gave me the tip for ice-creams but ever since I am using it to make Rabri (whole milk pudding). It contains less fat as compared to the original Rabri recipe.

Ingredients to make Instant Rabri

  • 1 liter milk (full fat is best)
  • 2 slices of white bread (crust removed)
  • 1/2 cup mixed nuts of choice
  • 200 gms condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • To garnish:
  • Dry fruits
  • Grated coconut
  • rose petals

How to make Instant Rabri

  1. Mix the cardamom powder in milk and simmer it on low heat for 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile coarsely grind the bread into fresh crumbs.
  3. Roughly chop the nuts as well.
  4. Once milk is boiled and bubbling, add bread crumbs to it.
  5. Add condensed milk - 200 gms (that is about half a can).
  6. Once Rabri is thick, turn off the heat and add nuts.
  7. Garnish with grated coconut and rose petals. Serve hot or cold.
