ABOUT Achari paneer with capsicum RECIPE

Achari paneer with capsicum is a wonderful rare cuisine which is cooked with paneer and capsicum bringing out pickled flavours into it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer 200gms ( cut into cubes )
  2. Capsicum 1 medium size
  3. Onion 1 fine chopped
  4. Tomato 1 chopped
  5. Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Fenugreek seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Fennel seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Dried red chillies 4
  9. Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  10. Onion seeds 1 teaspoon
  11. Ginger Garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  12. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Black salt 1/4 teaspoon
  15. Yogurt 3 spoon

Instructions

  1. Grind together fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, cumin and red chillies to a coarse powder.
  2. Bake capsicum and paneer in a pan separately.
  3. Heat mustard oil in a pan add cumin seeds onion seeds and saute. For half a minute. Add chopped onion and saute till it goes golden brown.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, and grinded coarse powder mixture. Mix it for a minute
  5. Add yogurt, salt, black salt, and mix it well.
  6. Baked capsicum and paneer and stir. Quarter cup of water and cook till dry.
  7. Serve hot with naan/Roti/ kulcha
