In a vessel, add sugar, cardamom powder and water and cook till one thread consistency is attained.
Add saffron and remove from the heat.
Mix maida, milk powder, baking soda in a bowl.
Add ghee and add curd little by little. Knead it into a soft dough.
Make small balls from the dough.
Heat oil in the pan and reduce the flame at low.
Fry the balls till brown. And add them to the sugar syrup for atleast 2 hours.
Serve warm or cold.
