ABOUT Mexican Chilli Jam RECIPE

A sweet and yummy jam with a kick of spice is a delicious accompaniment for your breads or rice preparation.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup red, green, and yellow capsicums, julienned
  2. 1/2 cup Vinegar
  3. 2 red chillies, finely chopped
  4. 4 tbsp sugar
  5. 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, add the julienned capsicums and vinegar. Cook till tender.
  2. Add chopped red chillies and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and cook on a low flame till sugar is caramelised.
  4. Put off the flame and add honey to the mixture. Mix well.
  5. Store the chilli jam in a glass bottle. Use as required.
