Ingredients to make Banana walnut cake

  • 1and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2cup butter
  • 1cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 banana mixed with 3/4 cup milk
  • Few walnuts, chopped.

How to make Banana walnut cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350degree. Lightly grease baking pan sprinkling all purpose flour.
  2. Puree banana with milk. Keep aside.
  3. Sift together flour,salt and baking powder.
  4. Cream butter and blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat untill smooth, light and fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients to the creamed mix alternatively with banana juice. Stir until just blended. Pour batter into greased pan.
  5. Sprinkle chopped walnuts.
  6. Bake at 350degree Fahrenheit (175degree) Celsius for 50 to 55min or untill cake Springs back when lightly touched. Remove from pan and allow to cool.
  7. Turning on rack, tap lightly back of pan lightly to take out cake.
